Inviting suggestions from the teaching staff and principals on NEP 2020

The Union Ministry of Education is inviting suggestions from the teaching staff and principals on the implementation of the new National Education Policy or NEP 2020.

The new National Education Policy (NEP) was approved by the Central Government almost after 34 years on 29th July 2020 by the Union Cabinet.  The new policy aims to address the many growing developmental imperatives of our country and is aligned with the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. The National Education Policy 2020 is built on the foundational pillars of Access, Equity, Quality, Affordability, and Accountability.

The National Education Policy understands the pivotal roles of the teaching staff in building the future of our children and that the successful implementation of NEP will require participation from the teaching staff at all the stages.

Considering all this the Ministry of Education is requesting for the views/suggestions/comments of Principals/ Head Teachers/Teachers on implementation of various recommendations of NEP.

The views/suggestions/comments received will form an integral part of the implementation plan of NEP-2020.

Ministry expects all the teaching staff including all the Principals/Teachers/ Head Teachers from Government, Government Aided and Private unaided schools to participate in this exercise.

Interested teaching staff can give their views/suggestions/comments on various themes/subjects. In order to make it simple, MOE has prepared theme-wise questions on important recommendations of NEP.

The MOE has the view that the inputs received from grassroot level will certainly going to help in making an effective implementation plan for NEP 2020.

Participants are required to register themselves on the platform by filling a simple registration form.
