EnglishPro App Learn English pronunciation

The English and Foreign Languages University, Hyderabad in under their University Social Responsibility (USR) initiative has come up with a Mobile App for learning English pronunciation. According to the University, EnglishPro App is ideally suited for any student who has received 5 years of school education, with English as a curricular subject. EnglishPro can be used by the school students and teaching staff to support classroom teaching of English in Indian schools.

The USR is unique among Indian universities and seeks to provide the general public access to the English and Foreign Languages University’s vast academic resources.

The Mobile App teaches General English pronunciation in the unique Bharatiya way – it helps the organic transitioning of beginner-level English users from their mother tongue to English; and it promotes the use of Standard Indian English.

The EnglishPro App was launched by the Hon’ble Minister of Education Dr. Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’ and Shri Sanjay Shamrao Dhotre Ji through the video conference on 31st August 2020.
