Painting Competition and Seminar organized by National Science Centre
National Science Centre, New Delhi is organizing an ‘On-the-spot –Painting Competition’ and a seminar on 22 May 2018 on the occasion on earth day, which was celebrated on 22 April 2018. Along with the painting competition, students will also share their views. The prizes will be distributed for the Painting Competition as well as the quality of views expressed by the students.
The participant will be challenged by showing short films on the climate change scenario, plastic pollution in the cities, rivers, and oceans and through a power-point presentation on how they can take up certain activities at their local level to support the cause of saving the mother earth.
A student can freely participate in seminar/contests, and for the painting competition, they should bring their own colors.
Programme In National Science Centre Will Be As Follows
10.00 a.m.- 10.05am: Welcome by National Science Centre and the introduction of program hosts.
10.05 a.m. – 11.00 am: Students Seminar on – To End Plastic Pollution-- Challenges and Opportunities (2.30 minutes allotted to each student)
Parallel Session - “On-the-Spot Painting Competition”
11.00 a.m.- 12-noon interaction with Environmental Scientist and screening of Short films on State of plastic pollution and Climate Change
12.00 noon - 12.10 p.m.: Question/Answers with students.
12.10 p.m. --12.20 p.m.: Prize Distribution/Closing Remarks
Parents and Guardians are requested to send their ward’s participation in the activities via e-mail or Whatsapp only. The participation request has to be sent in a prescribed format latest by 19th May 2018
