Google Announces 2018 Doodle 4 Google For Indian Students Win 5 Lakh
NEW DELHI: On Monday Google announced the "2018 Doodle 4 Google" contest inviting creative, art-loving students from across India. The contest is to bring the students imagination to life for the search engine giant's logo. This time theme for the doodle is "what inspires you".
The winning doodle will be showcased on the www.google.co.in page and the winner would win an Rs. 5 lakh college scholarship, along with the opportunity to share their inspiration through their artwork. Not only this, winning doodle would also get a chance to be featured on Google's homepage on Children's Day. According to Google, the Google Doodle contest is open to students from Class 1 to 10 and the last date of submission is October 6, 10:00 p.m. Students can work with any materials they wish, but all doodles must be entered using the entry form. Parents, Guardians, and teachers can mail the complete entry form or submit it online as a .png, or .jpg.

The entries will be reviewed by a panel of guest judges including the original doodle team leader at Google, Ryan Germick. The top 20 doodles would be put up for public voting from October 23 to November 5. Click here to see the panel of judges of Doodle 4 Google.
Doodle 4 Google India was first held in 2009 and thereafter it’s an annual activity. The contest is only open for students having Indian citizenship.
