CBSE launches podcast app Shiksha Vani for students, parents and teachers
Central Board of Secondary Education, CBSE has launched its podcast application for all students, parents and teaching staff. In the official circular shared by CBSE, the complete details about the purpose and use of app are published for the public. The guidelines for the evaluation process have also been uploaded on the podcast app of the board, aptly named CBSE Shiksha Vani.
The android app is available for download on Google Play Store. The purpose of the podcast is to facilitate the dissemination of important information in an easy and accessible manner to all the stakeholders on time. The app will have all the important announcements by the board, recent circulars, and all the relevant information.
The first podcast on the app is about Board Exam 2019 answer sheets and preparation of CBSE Results 2019. The Examiners and the relevant evaluators can only access this information.
To download the app, the interested can go to Google Play Store and search for CBSE Shiksha Vani app. Currently, the app is available only for Android phones/tablets. The app is a quick and easy way to stay abreast with all the latest updates from the board. After installing the app, members can effortlessly receive the audio/video information files on their cell smartphones/tablets almost instantaneously as and when uploaded by the Board. Separate guidelines are published for schools, and they are requested to follow the guidelines given in Annexure A with the circular to operationalize Shiksha Vani on their Android cell phones.
In recent years, CBSE has been successful in introducing digital initiatives to provide ease of access to all its stakeholders.
